This is the best of the notes that were part of this old-time Wisconsin collection. The owners father found his collection between 1940 and 1957. This is now the sixth $5 Brown Back known from this bank. We sold a slightly nicer one in 2008 at $5,462. This beauty is fresh and well centered with exceptional pen signatures of Edwin Ellis, President and the cashier.
