Very few Dallas $5s from the 1915 series have ever been found, so anytime an example this nice turns up, collectors take notice. This new addition to the census puts the number recorded at an even two dozen. Of those, most are VF 20 or below, or AU 50 and above. Examples from the popular VF + to XF range are nearly impossible to find. This is a fresh piece, clearly embossed and exhibiting bright paper and natural surfaces. Two tiny pinholes must be mentioned, but they are hidden in the design and are virtually invisible.
