June 26, 1837. This 6 1/4˘ note was issued during the Hard Times era brought about by the Panic of 1837. The central vignette features Ceres and Architecture. There is an inch long tear along the left fold and some light staining at the upper left and lower right. An interesting obsolete fractional denomination.
