January 1, 1863. The only vignette is of the apothecary. This note was issued by famous coin dealer W. Elliott Woodward during the Civil War small change crunch. Recognizing the affairs of the time, he labeled his issues "This is not Currency, but a memorandum for change." Numbered, but not signed.
