There are only 34 other Fr. 1500 star 1928 $1 Red Seals reported and this is the second lowest serial #230; only serial #101* is lower. The note is new to the census and the grade is VF 30 with 2 pinholes, which I believe are as made. There are only four notes graded higher, a PMG 35, PCGS 40 PPQ, PCGS 63 PPQ and PMG 64. There are also three listed as '30' but none graded by PMG or PCGS. The '40 PPQ' realized $11,750 just 18 months ago.
