June 1, 1862. A spurious note from this elusive bank, with the design also used for a counterfeit $1 on the Northampton Bank of Northampton, Massachusetts. This note has full margins and decent paper body. This bank later became the First National Bank of Lynn (charter 638) in December 1864. Haxby MA-785 S5.
