Calais $5 & $10 The Washington County Bank Two Notes

$5 - October 8, 1835, $10 - July 6, 1836. This bank was in business for a scant five years from 1835 to 1841. This $5 grades VF and features vignettes of a blacksmith, a seated girl, and Mercury. This note has nice margins and inks. There is some mounting residue and pulled paper on the right side. The $10 grades AU but the margins are non-existent. Haxby ME-250 G16 and G 28.
