___ 189_ and ___190_. Notes from the first and second issue are included in this lot. These notes were issued by James Jackson McAlester (1842-1920), who was the founder of McAlester, Oklahoma. He was, at times, a Confederate soldier, businessman, merchant, United States Marshall in the Indian Territory, and the second Lieutenant Governor of Oklahoma. All notes are remainders, with the 25 note from the second issue (190_) while the other two are from the first (189_).
