First Charter #1 notes are exceedingly rare with only 29 notes reported. There are a few more Originals than 1875 Series $5s as well. This note technically grades VF/XF for folds but it's an UNC with folds. It has spectacular pen signatures and is from the bank's second title. This is as pretty as you should ever need to look at. There are only #1 notes known from two Massachusetts banks.
