Here is a truly great find from San Bernardino County. This is only the third large size note reported from this one-bank town. The bank was chartered in 1917 and issued only 4,691 sheets of large notes. This piece has a clear signature of J.C. Turner, President and the cashier's appears to be G.A. Marsh (I can't quite put it together, but it's clear). This note should make someone happy because last year a somewhat better note, PMG VF 25, realized $13,800. Prior to that it had been 20 years since one sold.
