Star 'C' plate note. This 1875 Series $5 has the star, or asterisk, next to the plate position 'C' on the left. The note looks like a three-fold UNC and these are seldom offered. There are only 13 notes reported and just four are $5s. Are they other replacement notes, I'm not sure.
