Two cancelled bonds issued to Daniel Jones of Hartford comprise this framed lot. Each certificate was for 25 pounds. These bonds were signed by Connecticut Treasurer Peter Colt, who was the grandfather of Samuel Colt, the well-known firearms manufacturer.
