This financial powerhouse was chartered in 1865 and issued notes well into the 1902 Plain Back era, closing in 1926. This early note saw little time in cash drawers, but instead was carried as a pocket piece. The heavy folds have severe splitting with numerous tears along the top and bottom margins. Just based on folds it is an XF, but due to the wear and tears we will demote it a few grades.
