This tiny late charter bank was one of the smallest issuer in Pennsylvania. Chartered in March 1934, the bank issued just $15,000 in notes before the end of the circulation privilege. This is one of the toughest of the 14000 charter banks, as the few known notes are in very tight hands. In fact, this is only the third time in 60 years a note from this bank has been offered at public sale, the last time being a low grade note offered in 2004. This is a very nice note and will be an important addition to the collection it now enters.
