January 7, 1862. A note from a very rare bank, whose entire issue is listed as SENC in Haxby. Haxby, however, only lists a $5 as a non-genuine issue, and even this is listed as SENC. Two proofs and another $1 note were sold about 10 years ago. Haxby PA-565, G 2a.
