Green Bay The Wisconsin Bank $2

This bank was originally chartered in the Michigan Territory in 1835 and inherited by Wisconsin Territory when it was organized in 1836. The bank's charter was repealed in 1839. There is an interesting vignette of three Greek gods looking down at their handiwork on earth from the heavens. There are a couple of paper crinkles on this note, probably made when the note was printed.
