UNL. An extremely rare Nashville Civil War scrip and the first we have seen. M.L. Stephens ran a saloon under the Commercial Hotel, which was located at the corner of Cedar and Cheery Sts. in the heart of downtown Nashville. An extremely detailed note, printed in blue with wild red overprint, and green reverse. Hand signed by M.L. Stephens. A fantastic Nashville note in superior grade.
