Luray, First NB, 6031
Fr. 608 $5 1902ND

Here is a very attractive note from a very popular and seldom available Page County location. Luray is famous for its Luray Caverns, a series of massive caves featuring stalactites and stalagmites. Despite a long life, the bank did not circulate all that many notes and left a mere $1,730 in large notes outstanding in 1935. The note features a wonderful pink pen signature of J.S. Price, Cashier and a stamped signature of E.D. Newnan, President.
