A lightly circulated and evenly centered note from this Ohio issuer. Made out to H. Clay (Henry Clay????) and dated 1840. There is a small stain above the president's signature. Supposedly to be redeemed in the city of Ohio, Ohio, notes from this company was deemed fraudulent and unregulated in December 1839 by the state of Ohio
