A scarce note from a bank that bowed out in 1929 having issued large size notes only. Miami, located in the far northeast corner of the state, was originally part of the Indian Territory, and is named, along with the county, for Native American tribes. Bold purple stamped signatures of R.R. Bayless, Cashier, and J.L. Cheyne, President.
