Kingman, Farmers NB, W7412
Fr. 639 $20 1902RS
Grade:
Fine +
This bank was established in September 1904 and was voluntarily liquidated in June 1909, being succeeded by the Farmers Bank. The large outstanding in 1910 was $24,190. This is a great rarity as the bank issued only Red Seals, and only 1,304 sheets at that. This bank was unique in 1995 and it remains that way today. The town's other charter, #3509, has added threes notes to its total but four are VG or less. Pen signatures. The upper left corner tip is missing. From the C. Dale Lyon Collection.
