This is one of three known examples and it was last sold in 2004 by Stack's at $12,075. Last fall we sold a slightly better $10 First Charter on charter #10 for $20,700. We expect significant interest in this very rare low charter note. This bank issued only First Charters between 1863 and 1882. Certainly a highlight of this collection. There is a split and a tiny hole. From the David Davis Collection.
