Madison Dane County Bank $10 Proof

Haxby WI-365-G10. January 1, 1855. This very rare and interesting proof was sold in the first Eric P. Newman sale in April, 2015. The vignette is Yale Green, a scene that was commissioned by the City Bank of New Haven originally. This is one of two known in private hands and is beautifully framed.
