Haxby NJ-220-G2b. Jan. 2, 1863. The Haxby Plate Note which likely was in the George Wait collection decades ago. It is another stunner that has only been in a few collections and has not been at auction for close to two decades. Winfield Scott s majestic portrait at center is accented by green frame and protectors. Fully issued and with an engraved date. The bank closed, but it seems most notes were redeemed. Looks New, but some light folds and hard to see pinholes. Rare bank and type.
