October 25, 1837. Wait 1545. A very scarce issuer and the most desirable denomination issued. Wonderful vignette of whalers harpooning whale at center; reverses of three Spanish Colonial 1 Real coins at right. The Neward Whaling, Sealing & Manufacturing Co. issued notes in just three denominations, the 37- cent was the highest and is the most desirable. Rarely available in any grade.
