Brooklyn Long Island Bank $1 Proof
Grade: PCGS Very Ch. New 64
Haxby NY-325-G36 SENC. This beauty came from the 1990 ABN Christie s Sale, then to be buried for over 25 years in the Alan York Collection. This later type from the bank has the Comptroller s seal at the left was used into the 1850s. A deeply inked card impression and nearly Gem. There was one other proof of this type on the sheet, now closely held by a collector.
