Dec. 15, 1840. US-3, G106. Post Note payable in New York. An extremely rare example that has a single punch cancel at right. The back of the note has four interest paid stamps, and is stamped "Cancelled". A water stain covers the entire note, but this is an excellent opportunity to acquire a high denomination note for a fraction of what a Federal Reserve Note would cost.
