Colonial Currency > North Carolina
NC-81 30 Shillings March 9, 1754
Grade:
PCGS Apparent VF 30
The technical grade does not do justice to the sheer and utter beauty of this early North Carolina note. Bright paper, wide left indent and just a couple of petty repaired edge splits make for an awfully desirable piece of colonial history. This is easily in the top 1% of all early North Carolina Colonial notes in terms of quality. Newman lists these at $750 in VF and $1,500 in XF.
