A really nice example of the highest denomination from this early North Carolina issue. PCGS notes repairs and pieces replaced at right and a repaired center split but all of these issues are pretty much par for the course with the early notes from this condition-challenged colony. A somewhat lower serial number 231 should make this piece all the more alluring.
