Dated October 18, 1854. Black and white ABNC Proof with four HPCs along bottom signature lines. Printed on India paper but not mounted on cardstock. A hugely margined and deeply embossed example with central vignette of Indians paddling in canoe. Oval portrait of Senator Charles Sumner at lower right. Scarce high denomination proof that should prove of great interest to anyone forming a high grade proof collection or any $100 collection.
