This pleasing Brown Back on Sussex County closed its doors in January 1925. One of five Brown Backs listed in the census and with 16 large size it's a bank that doesn't make too many appearances at auction. The small edge splits and minor rust and ink stains are just that, small and minor and of little consequence to the overall integrity of the note. Before this note, the most recent we can see having sold was also a PCGS Apparent Fine 12 that realized over $1,000 in the past year.
