One of only two banks in this Brazos County community, with this the only to issue Red Seals, having issued 1,300 sheets of $10-$10-$10-$20 to go along with the 3,500 sheets of $5-5-5-5s. As we stated when we sold this in 2010, there are still only four Red Seals known, with this being the finest. Dark inks and embossing is easily seen. Stamped signatures of J.W. Howell, President and L.L. McInnis are faint, but discernible. Originally sold as part of Jack Everson Collection in February 1997, and again in 2010 in the Jess Lipka Red Seal Collection.
