Whitfield 421. June 1, 1867. Made out to a William Bennefield. Signed by Secretary of State Baker, Governor Crawford and Treasurer Anderson. Issued to reimburse Kansas Citizens for their loss in the General Price Raid of 1864 and the General Curtis expedition against the Indians in 1864.
