A prohibitively scarce Orange County bank with this piece only the fifth note to be reported from here. It issued only this type and denomination until the expiration of its charter in 1897 and had just $785 outstanding as of 1910. This is an evenly circulated note with nice color, problem-free paper and beautiful pen signatures of W.C. Stevens, cashier, and George W. Stoddard, president.
