From Southern Virginia s Lunenberg County comes this scarce as hen s teeth note. The county had just two note-issuing towns, and both are very tough. Victoria s bank lasted for 10 years before it was closed by the receiver in 1932; no small notes are known and just a half dozen large are reported. We note only three public offerings of a note from this bank since 2003. This one has a stamped signature of L.D. Hatch, Cashier, and a pen signature of A.C. Love, President.
