This Boston suburban bank was in operation beginning in 1853 until becoming the Mount Wollaston National Bank of Quincy in 1864, charter #517. All of the bank's Obsolete notes are listed as SENC in Haxby. A faint corner fold is all that accounts for the grade as it appears to be a lovely Ch. CU example otherwise.
