An absolutely stunning example of this much scarcer fiber paper experimental that has bright paper, superb color and crystal clear surcharges. It is the same as Fr. 1249 but for the lack of a face engraving. Perhaps half a dozen are known and even though there are a couple that are better grade you would be hard pressed to find one that is more pleasing to the senses as this one looks like a gorgeous Gem through the holder. Rare in this uncancelled state.
