Hoober 305-185(?). June 26, 1837. An extremely rare and in all likelihood unique note which may or may not be Hoober 305-185 as no photo nor description nor date is listed in that reference for this number. The note states that it is a Certificate of Deposite (sic) which will be received by the Philadelphia City Savings Institution at their office, 91 North Second Street. Wonderful pen signatures of John McClintock, Secretary and Joseph S. Riley,President. Easily the rarest Philadelphia bank note we have seen in some time.
