Notes from this bank rarely turn up for sale, not surprising since this was the only issuing town in Pawnee County, and this was a large-only bank that was liquidated in 1915. Though Pawnee City had two other national banks at various times, one is unreported and the other shows just a single known note, leaving the few notes from the Farmers National Bank to satisfy collectors looking for a note from this town or county. This is a nice note sporting good pen signatures of H.C. Van Horne, Cashier, and J.T. Trenery, President.
