This is a sought-after Somerset County location that is seldom available for sale. Just 4 small notes are reported in the Kelly census, with this just the second $20 note to surface. Salisbury was founded in 1794 and was incorporated in 1862 under the name "Elk Lick." It was later renamed Salisbury based on an the Anglicization of Dutch words meaning "salt deposits". A highly desirable note from a well-collected county.
