New York County Bank $2 Proof
Grade: PCGS Apparent Ch. New 63
The bank opened in 1855 and subsequently became New York County National Bank, charter #1116, in 1865. A bright and superbly printed black and white proof which is printed on India paper with four small HPCs along the signature lines. The small tear mentioned by PCGS is a mystery to us because we really cannot see it. A great example that should be proudly displayed by the winning bidder.
