A much scarcer later New Jersey issue. This lowest denomination actually appears with far less frequency than the more available three shilling and six shilling notes. The note itself is an abundantly margined and very well-signed and printed example with some minor restorations noticed after intense scrutiny. Always a four-figure item in this solid VF grade. Newman values this at $3,500 in VF.
