Haxby 155-R5. June 1, 1853. A really scarce type that hardly ever seems to show up at auction or in dealer showcases. PCGS notes small rust stains and pinholes, but at this grade level we can be somewhat forgiving. A vibrant piece due to the fact that this was a $1 note that was raised to the $5 denomination.
