The Only $20 Red Seal on the Bank
National Bank Notes > New York
New York, Market & Fulton, E964
Fr. 639 $20 1902RS
Grade:
PCGS Fine 12
This is the much scarcer second title on the bank which came into being after the 1887 merger of the Market National Bank and the Fulton National Bank. Thickly-applied ink signatures sweep across the bottom of this very scarce Red Seal note. Only three are known and this is the lone $20 representative. This note is returning home to us after a decade-long hiatus. It brought $920 the last time we sold it and are supremely confident that it will do far better in this day and age.
