Made during World War I German occupation of Persia. As stated in Wolfgang Konig's article that appeared in the IBNS Journal Volume 27 from 1988, these notes were first issued in October and November 1916 to finance German military operations in Persia. Many were burned; this note has foxing and small piece missing top left and small mark at right margin. Series J. Seldom found.
