Grade:
PCGS Apparent Abt. New 53
A tougher Philadelphia bank that issued only Brown Backs and Date Backs before the doors were shut in 1928. But for a serial #1 Brown Back, this is easily the highest graded example on the bank. Hulking margins and perfectly balanced margins are enhanced by the dark printed signatures seen on this note. The minor repairs flagged by PCGS appear to be nothing more than a tiny repaired edge nick in the broad top margin. A great opportunity for the collector who wants the best available.
