A much better Whitman County note that produced Third Charter large notes and Type One small notes before exiting the banking scene during the throes of the Great Depression in January, 1932. In the past decade we have seen run of the mill VF examples sell for as much as $800. This is the nicest example of this far scarcer bank and one that should be actively sought after by that Pacific Northwest's many well-heeled collectors.
