A lovely example of this scarcer 'a' on face red back Fessenden note that is only held back from the Gem grade by minor skewed centering. Our consignor informs us that this note appeared in the 1986 ANA sale in Milwaukee. The last example we saw in this grade was at the 2012 FUN show and that brought $373.75.
