For a time the State of Mississippi backed its notes with cotton, a fact to which this note attests. The central vignette is a passenger train with side vignettes of a farmer and an allegorical female. This note has a lot going for it since the typical grade of these is VG-VF. A corner fold from being uncirculated with rich peach and blue colors and such embossing that it produces an obstacle course on the back of the note. Fully framed and with some of the best eye appeal we have seen from this otherwise commonly available note.
