Dated September 20, 1862. Medlar 9, listed at R-6 with 5-10 known. Minor stains are seen on the left side of this note which is otherwise bright, broadly margined and with excellent paper consistency. This same note originally sold back in a 2004 Heritage sale for close to $200 and we are confident it's worth much more today.
